Housing Board
We provide information with different resources for housing that includes current housing listings, tenant rights, rental agreement forms and much more. SWAMP
The Future Cents Seasonal Work and Maintenance Program is available Thursdays to assist other Non Profit organizations, Seniors and persons with Disabilities with labour orientated tasks. For more info or to book the SWAMP team call (250) 565-6333 or (250) 565-6278.
Job Board
Employment resource board with tips on job searching and interview skills. As well as resume and cover letter creation. Located in Future Cents CAP Site 1160 7th Ave.
Clothing Closet
The clothing closet is open to the public for anyone who needs clothes for work or leisure. Donations of old clothes in good condition are always welcome, located in the YAP Friends building at 1148 7th ave.
YAP Library
The YAP Library is a project to encourage literacy for youth in the community. The books are received by donation and are available to the youth to take by signing them out with one of the access workers. Come to 1160 – 7th Ave to check out the books!
Learn to Drive
The Learn to Drive project is for youth who are interested in getting their Learner’s license. I have created a study guide to help prepare them for the written test. This guide is meant to compliment the, ‘Learn to drive smart: your guide to driving safely’ book, which can be found at Service BC or ICBC Centers. If you are interested in a copy of this study guide, come on down to Youth Around Prince (across from City Hall) at 1160 – 7th Ave.
Small Business Brochure
I have created a pamphlet focused on the initial steps of creating a small business. Along with some basic steps toward creating a small business, there are also a few resources listed to help with funding and development. This pamphlet can be found in the YAP building (1160 – 7th Ave) or requested through the Future Cents administrators.
Other Services
Future Cents offers a variety of other services that include peer support, advocacy, resume writing and referrals to other agencies. Northern Youth Warriors
Every Tuesday nights from 6:30pm-9:30pm in the Yap Friends building
We are honored to invite you to join us in our self empowerment and healing journey! Anybody who wishes to heal from stress, trauma, violence or any kind of personal loss is welcome here. We Are Warriors in spirit and our battle is against the soul wounds that life and others are inflicted upon us. We are each accountable for our own healing and tending to those wounds. As youth we have a vital role in our society. We are the Next Generation, the healthier we are, the healthier the whole world would be. As a group, we focus on creating positive energy for positive change in our lives. We help build confidence, tolerance, courage, forgiveness, strength, kindness, wisdom & knowledge. This group welcomes males & Females Ages 12 – 30

Art Classes
Come down to YAP to take part in art classes on different techniques including image transferring, shading, color blending, and patterns. Another part of my project is using discarded books from the library to create personal scrapbooks. If you are interested come down to YAP (across from city hall) on Tuesday afternoons from 2-4pm.
