Franca Petrucci - Director
I started my career 25 years ago working with youth who are considered high-risk. I have learned more from these individual youth than any degree or education program could have ever taught me – strength, resilience, compassion, and acceptance. Over the past 25 years I have worked with various programs in various places. The past 14 years, developing, implementing and sustaining the Future Cents program have been the most rewarding. It is a program where youth have the opportunity to become self-aware, self-reliant, and empowered to make a difference in their own lives and the lives of other youth who struggle. Future Cents has been very successful and this is due to the power the youth themselves bring everyday to the program: their resilience, life experiences, passion, spirit, survival knowledge, loyalty, compassion, appreciation and determination. I hold a BA in Criminology/Psychology, an Executive MBA and currently am enrolled in a Law degree. I have three wonderful teenagers and enjoy snowboarding, cycling, boating and any social event!
Rikki Beaudet - Manager/ Case Manager
I have been with the Future Cents program since August 2004 when I started as a youth on Contract #6. I have worked my way up the Future Cents ladder and truly believe in the program and its philosophies. I have diplomas in both Medical Office and Administration and am currently working towards my social working degree.
Alanna Gautreau-
Program Coordinator
My name is Alanna Gautreau. I came to Future Cents with A colourful past; I was a youth on Contract 13 in 2009 upon my completion, I transitioned out to work at Positive Living North. Then, I was asked to come back to Future Cents as the Outreach worker & on call Staff, which lead into my position as the Youth Supervisor followed by Program Coordinator. I love my job and one day plan to have my Degree in Social Work or Criminology. Future Cents and my family are what get me out of bed on the days I am feeling low. This program is amazing and can change your life if you put in the work.
